I'm excited work as a College Board Advanced Placement Consultant.
My experience with the College Board began as an AP Reader for the English Language and Composition subject. Last year, I received the opportunity to become an AP Consultant. This opportunity provided me with a knowledgeable mentor, Rebecca D. I used the mentor/mentee relationship to learn about AP College Board teacher professional development. This experience, combined with my years of community college teaching, produced new ways of thinking about higher education and its connections with K-12 education. I am still in the throes of many ideas and look forward to seeing what develops as I continue as part of the AP College Board.
